Neutron yield, energy spectrum and angular distribution of accelerator based T(d,n)4He reaction neutron source for thick target

Description
A mathematical method and a computer program were developed to calculate the yield, energy spectrum and angular distribution of neutrons from the T(d,n)4 He reaction in a thick tritium-titanium (TiTx) target for incident deuteron beam energies lower than 1.0 MeV. Some calculated results using this method are presented, including integrated neutron yields, neutron energy spectra and angular distributions. The reliability of the results was analyzed. (authors)
