Correlations of the identical π mesons and characteristics of their emission region in π-p interactions at 5 GeV/c

Description
In pion-multiple-production in π-p interactions at 5 GeV/c positive correlations between identically charged π mesons with close 4-momenta are observed. These correlations are explained within the framework of the quantum mechanical principle of boson identity and with their help the size and shape of the pion emission region are determined
