Analysis of transients in passive residual heat removal system in AP1000
Description
In AP1000 design, the passive residual heat removal system (PRHR) is a safety system for removing core residual heat in non-LOCA accidents. Its reliability is very important to plant safety and economics. This paper focuses on the PRHR structure and temperature, flow transients and frequency in order to provide suggestion for plant operation, maintenance and in-service inspection. (authors)
