Description
Exposure surveillance of RPV (Reactor Pressure Vessel) of PWR (Pressure Water Reactor) is one of the most important component of safety requirement of NPP (Nuclear Power Plant) operating. Using surveillance capsule is the most popular exposure surveillance method. However, there are some shortages with surveillance capsules. So, the Ex-vessel fast neutron dosimetry is widely used in nuclear industry. This article summarizes measure methodology of Ex vessel neutron dosimetry of PWR. A mature and widely used Ex-vessel neutron dosimetry is introduced, and the measure results of In-vessel and Ex-vessel neutron dosimetry are compared. At last, the advantage and further use of Ex-vessel dosimetry is declared. (authors)
