On the calculation of electromagnetic wave propagation parameters in cylindrical plasma jets

Description
Electromagnetic wave propagation parameters in cylindrical plasma jets have been discussed. The electron density profile is represented by a Gaussian curve constant. Formulas for the scattering field and the total field are derived. Coefficients of reflection and transmission are calculated. Numerical solutions are given. Electromagnetic characteristics of plasma jets are also discussed. This method can be applied for microwave diagnostics
