Description

A programme to calculate the electron dose distributions is described. The dose distributions of standing electron beam bundles in homogeneous water are presented by mathematical formulae for the depth dose curve and the cross distributions. Curved surfaces, slanting beam incidence and inhomogeneities are taken account of by a correction factor which considers the various source distance and the different energy loss compared to homogeneous water and which neglects the scattering. The errors involved are discussed. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird ein Programm zur Berechnung von Elektronendosisverteilung beschrieben. Die Dosisverteilungen von stehenden Elektronenstrahlenbuendeln in homogenem Wasser werden durch mathematische Formeln fuer die Tiefendosiskurve und die Querverteilungen dargestellt. Gekruemmte Oberflaechen, schraeger Strahleneinfall und Inhomogenitaeten werden durch ein Korrekturverfahren beruecksichtigt, welches den unterschiedlichen Quellenabstand und den unterschiedlichen Energieverlust gegenueber homogenem Wasser beruecksichtigt und die Streuung vernachlaessigt. Die damit eingeschlossenen Fehler werden besprochen. (orig.)
