Quark masses from spin and spin orbit interaction

Description
The masses of the u, s and c quarks by taking into account the spin-spin and spin-orbit interactions between the constituent quarks of various meson systems were estimated and the results are: msub(u)=0.523 Gev, msub(s)=0.689 Gev, and msub(c)=1.746 Gev. (author). 10 refs
