Magnetic dilution of La1.85Sr0.15FeO4 and La1.85Ba0.15FeO4

Description
Potentiality of preparation of complex oxides La1.85M0.15FeO4 (M = Sr, Ba) and their solid solutions in diamagnetic solvents (LaBaAlO4) in the range of paramagnetic component concentration from 0.5 to 10 mol.% was studied. Synthesis of the solid solutions was realized by three methods: ceramic method at 1573, 1673 and 1800 K with intermediate attrition of the reactive mixture, without intermediate attrition, as well as the method of nitrates decomposition and calculation at 1800 K. The optimal synthesis conditions were ascertained on the basis of data of X-ray phase analysis and measurement of magnetic susceptibility of the solid solutions prepared

Изучена возможность получения сложных оксидов La1.85M0.15FeO4 (M = Sr, Ba) и их твердых растворов в диамагнитных растворителях (LaBaAlO4) в области концентраций парамагнитного компонента от 0,5 до 10 мол%. Синтез твердых растворов проводили тремя способами: керамическим методом при 1573, 1673 и 1800 К с промежуточным перетиранием реакционной смеси, без промежуточного перетирания, а также методом разложения нитритов и прокалкой при 1800 К. Оптимальные условия синтеза определены на основе данных рентгенофазового анализа и измерения магнитной восприимчивости, полученных твердых растворовAdditional details
