Detection of mediastinal lines and paraesophagial stripes is of diagnostic importance during survey x-ray investigation; they testify to a good esophagus elasticity. Displacement or absence of these structures point out to a pathological changes of esophagus or its surrounding tissues. Roentgenological picture of several segments of esophagus is presented for precise determination of pathological change localization in esophagus
