Description
The precise prediction of RPV neutron embrittlement is based on the accurate value of fast neutron fluence, fluence rate and fluence spectrum. These data can be obtained from deterministic or statistic neutron transport theory. However, the validation of calculated neutron fluence must be qualified by measurements. Nowday, the neutron dosimeters are widely used both in and out of RPV in nuclear power station, which can provide value to testify calculational results. Meanwhile, best estimated neutron spectrum at measure points can be obtained by adjusting a given initial spectrum with measurement results. Adjustment codes are used during this procedure. This article introduced three broadly used neutron spectrum adjustment codes, SNL-SAND-Ⅱ, FERRET and LSL-M2. Comparison of the three was carried out with one extensively acceptted benchmark problem. It showed that the results of the three were all good, and SNL-SAND-Ⅱ is slight better the other two. (authors)
