Experimental study on film boiling crisis on spherical surfaces
Description
Experimental study is made on heat-exchange crisis during cryogenic fluid boiling on spherical surfaces, made of different materials. Experiments were conducted on spheres with diameters from 2 up to 16 mm manufctured M1 copper indium, 12Kh18N10T stainless steel and VT-16 titanium alloy with boiling of nitrogen, argon and freon-22 in the range of reduced pressures p/pcr=0.02-0.94
