Probability for radiationless excitation of nuclei with electron transition in an atomic shell
Creators
Description
In the framework of quantum electrodymanics the probability for nuclear excitation with an electron transition (NEET) is derived. The review of the experimental and theoretical results for 189Os, 197Np and 237Np is given. The essential difference between theoretical evaluations and probabilities observed is found. The invalidgity of the experimental results on NEET excitation of the low-lying 76.8 eV isomer 235U is laser plasma is shown
