Separation of plutonium from irradiated uranium and identified by α-spectroscopy

Description
Plutonium was separated by ionic exchange from irradiated metallic uranium. Solutions of plutonium and uranium were electrodeposited on stainless-steel discs and identified by α-spectroscopy. Plutonium could be separated from uranium and the fission products. (author)
