Sublimation of rare earth diethyldithiocarbomates
Description
Using as an example neodymium and erbium, the possibility of vacuum sublimation of diethyldithiocarbamates (DDTC) of rare earths was studied. It is shown that sublimation of the complexes occurs in the temperature range of 300-350 deg C (vacuum of ∼ 0.1Pa) and it is accompanied by partial decomposition. By the method of IR spectroscopy coordination to rare earth of DDTC anion and the absence of solvent molecules in the composition of sublimated complexes are confirmed
