The anisotropy of albedo re-entrant at midlatitudes
Description
The trajectories of albedo particles ejected at mid-latitudes with rigidities of 1 GV were traced by computer simulation to determine the angles of incidence, and hence the anisotropy, of re-entrant albedo particles. It was deduced from this study, and also from the results of a balloon flight, that re-entrant albedo particles prefer incidence from directions near the vertical. (orig./WBU)
