Tissue radiosensitivity of bank voles from different ecological regions

Description
It was demonstrated that bank voles inhabiting arctic regions are more radioresistant than those dwelling near Moscow. The criterion for the comparison of radioresistance were the values of the cytogenetic injury and the mitotic index in the spleen, bone marrow and cornea epithelium of animals exposed to different X-radiation doses
