The second arab conference on the peaceful uses of atomic energy was held on 5-9 November, 1994 in Cairo. The specialists discussed peaceful uses of atomic energy in different sciences. The application of atomic energy techniques in the fields of reactor physics and engineering, nuclear chemistry, radioactive wastes, nuclear safety, radiobiology, soil and agriculture and environmental studies were discussed at the meeting.
