Majorana-neutrino oscillations in left-right models
Description
The motion of a Majorana neutrinos in solar matter is considered in the SU(2)LxSU(2)RxU(1)B-L gauge model. For a neutrino system described by the wave function ΨT =(νeL,νXL,NeR,NXR,ν-bar eL,ν-barXL,N-bareR,N-barXR), the evolution equation is obtained in the Schroedinger form. It is shown that, for the flux of solar neutrinos νeL, the number of possible resonant transitions is determined by the neutrino-mass hierarchy. The analytic expressions for the probabilities of νeL survival are obtained for the case of isolated resonances
