Measurement of the emittance of a beam by 9040 computer

Description

Two computer programs were developed to compute beam emittance at the Saturne Synchrotron: (1) EMIQ, using the three-slope method; and (2) EMIL, using the three-plane method. General considerations of the techniques and characteristics of each code are outlined. (PMA)
