Description
Theoretical model of electrokinetic method for removing contaminants, in particular, radionuclides in a stable form from the soil is developed. The method is based on application to the soil of direct electrical field, which accomplishes the electromigration transfer of the corresponding complexants to the soil and removal of complexes, containing contaminants. Analysis of possible modes of the soil decontamination progress is carried out and it shown that04 the character of the soil decontamination process depends essentially on the ratio of the complex-formation and transport process reactions velocities
