Description

The review of sources to environmental radioactive contamination from nuclear activities in the former USSR is reported. The 90 Sr, 137 Cs and Pu 'reserves' in three most important regional sources: nuclear parks in the Chelyabinsk region in the Urals, the Chernobyl NPP accident and nuclear test site at the Novaya Zemlya to be found out qualitatively
