Lambda production in anti pd interactions from 552 MeV/c to 905 MeV/c
Description
382 Λ events have been measured and analyzed in a anti pd bubble chamber experiment at 552, 740, and 905 MeV/c. The data are compared with two other anti pd experiments at beam momenta from 1 to 3 GeV/c. Some features of the double scattering mechanism are calculated with a anti K and anti Λ as the exchanged particles. The anti K exchange appears to be a more likely candidate for the production mechanism
