Indoor radon survey in the Vojvodina region

Description
The results of an indoor radon survey in the Vojvodina region (Serbia) are presented. Effect of floor level, space under the rooms, boarding and the heating system on radon accumulation are discussed in this paper. The sampling strategy was oriented towards suburban and urban regions in the province. For the dwellings typical of such regions, we measure a mean annual radon activity concentration of 112 Bq/m3 (747 measurements using the alpha track detector CR-39). (author)
Abstract (Serbian)
U radu su prikazani rezultati istrazivanja faktora koji uticu na koncentraciju aktivnosti radona u zatvorenim prostorijama na podrucju Vojvodine. Merenja su vrsena plasticnim trag detektorma CR-39 na 1000 mernih tacaka. Analiziran je uticaj spratnosti, postojanja podrumskih prostorija, tipa grejanja i podnih obloga na akumulaciju radona u prostoriji. Za kuce tipicne za ovaj region odredjena je srednja godisnja koncentracija aktivnosti radona od 112 Bq/m3.Files
