Determination of a linear absorption coefficient of some complex substances

Description

The results of the measurement of linear absorption coefficients μ(lambda) of plexiglass (C5H8O2), mylar (C5H4O2), air and aluminium in the wavelength range lambda from 0.8 A to 2.6 A are given. The experiments are carried out at the synchrotrn radiation beam of the Erevan electron accelerator. The data obtained are compared with calculation values μ(lambda). It is shown that for mylar, plexiglass and aluminium there is a good coincidence of calculation and experimental values μ(lambda) in the studied wavelength range
