Description

Transportation of HCl or uranium from HCl medium across supported liquid membrane using Aliquat-336 in xylene as carrier was studied. Flux values for HCl or for uranium are higher at lower carrier concentration. This effect of carrier concentration on flux values are explained based on the aggregation behaviour of the carrier molecules in membrane phase. (author)
