Description
Objective: To investigate the CT manifestations of cervical sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy (SHML). Methods: CT and clinical records of 7 patients (4 male, 3 female, age range: 2-39 years) with cervical SHML confirmed by histopathology and immunohistochemistry were reviewed. Results: The 13 pathologically confirmed lymph nodes ranged from 0.8 cm to 4.1 cm with an average of 1.9 cm in maximum diameter on CT with homogeneous slightly low density (10/13, 76.9%), lobular or semi-circular (11/13, 84.6), well-defined (9) or ill-defined (4) margins. Conclusion: The CT features of SHML are non-specific and require correlation with clinical information for diagnosis. (authors)
