Induced field anisotropy on 77Se nuclei in chalcogenide spinels

Description

Information about measurement of local field isotropic and anisotropic constituents on 77Se nuclei in chalcogenide spinels is presented. Measurements were conducted using CdCr2Se4 and Cd0.94In0.06Cr2Se4 small monocrystal samples by means of spin echo at helium temperatures. It is shown that the observed anisotropy of local fields on 77Se nuclei in CdCr2Se4 practcally results from covalent contribution of Cr3+ nearest ions into 77Se induced SFI. Here we shall stress once again that shifts of Se2- ions in relation to their position in the spinel ideal lattice play the determinant role. This very effect results in decompensation of covalent contribution into the local field anisotropy on selenium nuclei
