Limitation of intensive agricultural activity by stress factors; 1 : 1 500 000

Description

This map shows Limitation of intensive agricultural activity by stress factors on the territory of the Slovak Republic. The map presents limitations applicable to use of agricultural soil fund (PPF) in the consequence of the effect of stress factors. The limitations are expressed in five basic degrees: · Degradation of PPF in the consequence of soil and air contamination - the particular territory requires a special regime of management with exclusion of crops destined to direct consumption. · Degradation of PPF in the consequence of air contamination - it is the territory where the agricultural production must be subject of hygienic quality control. · PPF threatened by slope deformations - limitation of intensity of use with preference to permanent grassland and stabilising elements, which palliate manifestations of slope deformations. · PPF threatened by erosions processes - the territory requires a special regime of management, above all agro-technical and agrochemical measures palliating erosion - accumulation processes.
