Development of pressure vessel irradiation calculation methods in Finland

Description

The calculation system is described, which was developed in Finland for calculation of the neutron irradiation ofthe pressure vessels of light water reactors with hexagonal geometry. A comparison of calculated and measured 54Fe(n,p) 54Mn reaction rates is presented and the agreement is found to be good, though this reveals nothing about the energy range below 2 MeV. (author)
