Description
This paper summarizes the current status of simulated disruption experiments on various materials. Special emphasis is laid on the comparison of erosion losses between heat sources. Materials included are carbon-based materials, refractory metals, and stainless steels. The heat sources compared are an electron beam, an ion beam, a laser, and a plasma which is produced by a plasma gun. ((orig.))
