Collective states in binuclear systems and their influence on fusion of heavy atomic nuclei

Description
Quantum description of near-barrier fusion of heavy nuclei with allowance for the collective degrees of freedom is performed by the strong channel-coupling method. It is shown that the structure of the barrier distribution function derived from experimental data is due to the properties of effective adiabatic potentials for the most populated vibrational states of a single nucleus perturbed by the presence of another nucleus

Квантовое описание околобарьерного слияния тяжелых ядер с учетом коллективных степеней свободы выполнено методом сильной связи каналов.
