Description
Environmental radiation level in the 30-km vicinity of the Paks NPP has been monitored regular y since 1980. Thermoluminescent dosemeters have been positioned both into outdoor and indoor site, 55 into each. Average dose rate values and calculated radiation burden to the public have been assessed from the measurements. It was found that the mean value of annual radiation burden from earth sources and cosmic radiation is 773 μSr pro person
