Two-dimensional envelop ion acoustic wave under transverse perturbations

Description

As is well known, the envelop ion acoustic nonlinear waves are expressed by the Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation (NLSE). In this paper, we find that under the transverse perturbations, this kind of nonlinear waves can be described by Davey-Stewartson (DS) equation. One of the specific two-dimensional envelop soliton is given for the general DS equation and its stability regions have been investigated
