Eco information 8. Influence of operation of the plants SE - EBO V2 on the environment within August 2006

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Slovenske elektrarne, Bohunice V2 NPP are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within August 2006 and January - August 2006 (respectively) were: 0.779 TBq and 6.824 TBq (0.34% of annually limit (AL)) of rare gases; 1.867 MBq and 13.280 MBq (0.02% AL) of aero-soles; 1.970 MBq and 19.987 MBq (0.03% of AL) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into hydrosphere within a August 2006 for NPP V2, respectively) were: 3.620 MBq of corrosive and fission products, and 279.037 GBq of tritium. For the period January - August 2006 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 27.752 MBq (0.21% of AL), and for tritium it is 4407.137 GBq (22.04% of AL)
