Systems organization for the European pressurized water reactor (EPR)
Description
The development of the fluid system organisation for the EPR has been characterised by an extensive exchange of information and operating experience between the major nuclear Utilities in France and Germany. The exchange has been necessary to achieve a harmonisation of frequently different national practice. The harmonisation has been supported by extensive use, at an early design stage, of probabilistic analyses and by frequent consultation of operating plant staff and maintenance organisations
