High-energy solar cosmic rays
Description
Cases when high-energy solar cosmic rays (SCR) are recorded, are analyzed on the basis of 5-minute data from high-altitude neutron monitor placed in the Alma-Ata station. Eight cases, when the intensity increases during 0.4-2.0% amplitude solar proton events, are determined. Intensity time dependence for events, which took place 07-05.78 and 07-08.12.82, is considered. SCR integral fluxes, which correlate with spectra determined using measurement results conducted by means of satellites, in stratosphere and high-latitude neutron monitors, are calculated for three cases. Energy upper level for SCR flux, which turned to be equal to 9±1, 11±2 and 9.5±1.5 GeV, respectively for three mentioned above events, is determined
