Phase diagram of system LiBO2-ZnO

Description
Results of investigation of LiBO2-ZnO quasibinary cross section of Li2O-ZnO-B2O3 ternary system using methods of differential thermal, X-ray phase analyses and infrared spectroscopy are presented. Cross section phase diagram is plotted that is characterized by three compounds: 3Li2Ox2ZnOx3B2O3, 2Li2Ox3ZnOx2B2O3 and Li2Ox2ZnOxB2O3 melting at 770, 930 and 1105 deg, respectively. Some characteristics of these compounds with determination of lattice parameters, coordination number of boron atoms in them are studied
