Description
The post-noon sector at cusp latitudes is often characterized by broad-band, irregular ELF/VLF emissions. The spatial and temporal relationships between these hiss emissions and discrete auroral arcs are investigated. The experimental finding indicates a relationship with magnetospheric boundary layer dynamics and impulsive plasma injections from the magnetosheath
