Fast-response membrane gas valve
Description
Membrane gas valve designed for creation of hollow cylindrical gas sheath used in experiments of plasma electrodynamic compression is described. Pressure rise time up to maximal one over the valve is 60-120 μs depending on membrane material. 1.0; 0.3 mm thickness rubber and 20 mcm thickness lavsan were used. Lavsan has the bst time characteristics
