Description

The effect of pion exchange currents in elastic and inelastic electron-deuteron scattering are discussed. The implications of the pseudoscalar and pseudovector coupling models for the πN system are investigated. Finally the pion exchange effect on the α-particle charge form factor is considered. (Auth.)
