Correlation of oilwell performance with cement characteristics
Description
Oil well cements meeting American Petroleum Institute (API) specifications can have considerable differences in performance characteristics when blended with common cement additives. Reasons for such variations can be explained by observations made by reflected light microscopy, X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry, and particle size analysis. Six cements meeting API specifications were studied
