A new procedure to analyse radioactive emission count data
Description
Nuclear analysis of a chemical mixture is considered in which counts of alpha, negatron beta or positron beta particle emissions are made. A statistical approach to the determination of the composition of a chemical mixture is presented and applied to both artificial and experimental data. Numerical comparisons with three currently adopted techniques for the analysis of multi-exponential data suggest a general superiority of the new procedure. (orig.)
