Born helicity amplitudes and cross-sections in non-Abelian gauge theories

  • 1. Sussex Univ., Brighton (UK). School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences

Description

The Born helicity amplitudes and the corresponding cross sections of some specific processes are discussed in this paper in non-Abelian (Yang-Mills) theories and in the high-energy (zero-mass) limit. More specifically, the various helicity amplitudes of two particular processes are studied, namely the scattering of opposite-charged and like-charged vector fields, i.e. W+W-→W+W- W-W- →W-W-
