Description

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) initiated a Coordinated Research Programme (CRP) on ''Design Codes for Gas-Cooled Reactor Components''. The specialists proposed to start with a benchmark design of a hot steam header in order to get a better understanding of the methods in the participating countries. The contribution of Federal Republic of Germany was planned as a joint effort of the working group ''HTR-Auslegungskriterien''. The main effort has been made by Interatom.
