Description

Irradiation of any part of the body during the period of its development with an antitumor dose can lead to imperfect development of bone and to the appearance of structural disturbances. Changes of radiation character observed in some patients beneath unchanged or relatively unchanged skin are evidence that patients of this group must be kept permanently on the register; they need constant supervision in order to minimize the risk of trauma to the part of the skeleton injured by radiation
