Ferrons in an antiferromagnetic size-quantized semiconductor film
Description
The possibility of formation of ferromagnetic regions (ferrons) in antiferromagnetic size-quantized semiconductor films is investigated. The shape and sizes of the ferron depending on the physical characteristics of the film and on its thickness are determined. It is shown that the stable ferron states arise only for the values of the characterizing parameter of the problem α ≤αm = 0,39. The estimation of the ferron radius and energy for europium selenide (EuSe) film is carried out. 8 refs
