Influence of phase matching on efficient selection of high harmonic of laser radiation in plasma

Description
Analysis of high harmonics generation efficiency increasing has been carried out under resonance and phase matching conditions in laser plasma. Possibility of phase matching for high harmonics with fundamental radiation in presence of autoionization states with narrow spectral lines is demonstrated. Taking into account such phase matching improves significantly the agreement between theoretical and experimental data for single high harmonic enhancement in indium plasma. (authors)
