On the Hawking effect in de Sitter space
Description
The Hawking effect in static de Sitter (dS) space is studied for a massless conformally coupled scalar field. An exact calculation of the difference between the dS invariant propagator of the ω modes, the eigenmodes on static dS space, reveals Hawking's radiation with temperature 1/2πa, where r = a defines the horizon.
