Description
The operational requirements for the plants, especially those set up for in-service inspections, maintenance and repair with respect to accessibility and radiological protection are also of advantage in case of decommissioning a plant. For these reasons, too, the requirements of criterium 2. 10 (of the 'Safety Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants' published by the German Federal Ministry of the Interior) can be met according to the opinion of the owners without changing the station's concept before construction of the plants. Abstract (German)
Die an die Betriebsfreundlichkeit der Anlagen speziell im Hinblick auf Wiederholungspruefungen, Revisionen und Reparaturen gestellten Anforderungen bezueglich Zugaenglichkeit und Strahlenschutz wirken sich auch vorteilhaft im Falle einer Stillegung aus. Darueber hinaus koennen bei einer Stillegung zusaetzliche Massnahmen realisiert werden. Auch aus diesen Gruenden sind daher nach Auffassung der Betreiber die Forderungen des Sicherheitskriteriums 2. 10 erfuellbar, ohne dass Aenderungen am Kraftwerkskonzept vor der Errichtung der Anlagen vorgenommen werden muessen.
