Status and development of basic facilities and new accelerator projects at JINR

Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is International Intergovernmental organization in Dubna town near Moscow in Russia. It was established 53 years ago and now joints together physicists of 24 countries in the fields of nuclear, particle and condenses matter physics. Scientific investigations at JINR are based on home basic facilities: the pulsed fast reactor IBR-2, the nuclear accelerator complex DRIBs (Dubna Radioactive Ion Beams) based on a cyclotrons U400 and U400M, superconducting synchrotron Nuclotron for protons and ions up to 5 GeV/u, proton phasotron for medical application and the first stage of new Intense REsonance Neutron source (IREN). The development and modernisation of existed basic facilities are presented. Besides JINR presently develops projects of new basic facilities including Nuclotron-based Ion Collider fAcility (NICA) for heavy ions physics in the energy range 1-5 GeV/u. During 3 last years JINR actively participates in the development of project of International Linear Collider (ILC). Dubna region is officially selected as one of candidate for the ILC siting
